Veolia sent a formal letter to the Pittsburgh City Controller in response to his February 2017 audit of PWSA. In the audit report, he was sharply critical of Veolia, basing many of the conclusions on a number of erroneous PWSA statements that are part of an ongoing attempt by PWSA to shift blame from themselves and avoid responsibility for recent mismanagement and corrosion problems.
